As usual, we had our breakfast & proceeded to their school. We were their guests for 6 days. After arriving, we went to attend chinese lesson. The lesson was about chinese poetry. Titled "song yuan er shi an xi". I shall explain the meaning to all of you. It means Wang wei at wei cheng seeing his friend, An xi off. Both of them got no idea when are they going to meet again. So, they toss with each other once again. The teacher read it with emotions. Background music started to play as the teacher started to read the poetry. I feel that this poem is filled with warmth & beautiful description of nature. We also tried to read through the poem. As this was our first time exposing to poem, we did not read it very well. But after several tries, i could say that we did much more better. The teacher even praised us. Next, we went for seal craving. The teacher gave us a brief explanation on how to work on seal craving. 5th of nov

Everyday there would be morning call to wake us up. We had our breakfast at the hotel. At 8am, we proceeded to Li Cheng Er Zhong. It took us about 30-40mins to reach the school. The driver would drive us there. In fact, everywhere. =) When we reached the school gate, guess what i saw? I saw a red banner with words in. It said 'welcome students & teachers of chai chee secondary school' in chinese. When we got down the coach, i saw all the students running to form rows of four neatly. Any idea what are they going to do? They were going to run together as a class. This is what they have to do every morning at 10. This exercise benefit each and everyone of us. It can keep us awake/fresh and at the same time keeps us healthy. Each class consists of 70 over students! WOW that was like twice of ours! What amazed me was that they were so united. Is like NS style of running. Next we went to 'hui yi shi' to meet our buddies. We were each assigned to one buddy. My buddy is a girl. Her name is shi luo lin, 14 this year. At first i thought my buddy was a guy. Well simply because all the girls in their school have to keep short hair unless their CCA is dance. Their side burn must not be too long. And the back of the hair cannot touch the collar. But after asking what's her name, then i knew it. We even watched a video clip of their school. At noon, we went for lunch with our buddies. After filling up our stomach, we went to tour around the school. The school is big. Many times bigger then ours.

4th of nov

Before the trip, i am very excited. I looked forward to the trip. On the day itself (4th of nov), i got to wake up early in the morning. Both principal & vice-principal went to the airport and see us off. We even took a group picture at the airport. We arrived at beijing's airport around 3.30pm. We got to wait for few hours for our next flight to Jinan. During that period, i and few of my friends went to have our lunch. It took 50mins from Beijing to Jinan. Guess what? When we arrived, i saw three ladies welcomed us warmly. They were our tour guides. They looked kind and passionate to me. After stepping out of Jinan's airport, i felt extremely cold. It was totally different from singapore's weather. We proceeded to our hotel (Tao Ran Shang Wu Bin Guan) by bus. =)
